Little Fishes Meeting

Meet our staff

Little Fishes Pre-School is currently managed by Lilian, our Pre-School Manager, who is supported by our Business Manager Charlotte, and a team of Early Years Practitioners and Assistant.

All our practitioners hold at least a Level 3 qualification and every staff member is on the DBS update service.

LILIAN MCKIE

Pre-School Manager

I have worked in childcare for 22 years and still enjoy watching children have fun, while they are learning and growing.

I have achieved my BA Honours in Children’s development and learning, also my Early Years Professional Status. I am looking forward to working at Little Fishes to work alongside such a good team and getting to know all the parents and children.

Deputy Manager, Health & Safety Officer, Paediatric First Aider

I have a Level 3 Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare. I previously spent most of my career in private day nurseries with under 3’s however I wanted a new challenge in a smaller setting and the chance to contribute to a child’s progression from 2yr to 4yrs. I also have 3 young children so am grateful to spend the holidays with them. I love Christmas and one of my favourite things to do at Little Fishes is celebrate all the different cultural festivals.

I have a BA in Psychology and Sociology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (QTS). I have worked in education for 18 years in various settings including teaching children with special needs. I also used to edit magazines before changing career. I love working in early years, especially experiencing the incredible imaginations of our Little Fishes – their magical conversations are wonderful to be part of and I love seeing them progress during such an important part of their lives.

Danni lovejoy

Early Years Practitioner, Paediatric First Aider

I have a Level 3 diploma in children’s learning and development. I went straight into childcare when leaving school, working in private day nurseries mainly with the under 2’s, which I have done for 10 years. After a small break to spend some quality time with my son I decided to take a small change to work with slightly older children. Working with Little fishes is the perfect job for me and my family as I get to do what I love whilst also spending time with my family during the holidays.
