Little Fishes Pre-School is a registered charity and a non-profit making organisation

We are run by a voluntary parent-led committee consisting of Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and general committee members. As a community based, voluntary managed setting, we depend on the goodwill of parents and their involvement to keep going.

Joining the committee is an excellent way of getting involved with your child’s early education.

The committee meets at least once a term and is responsible for the effective running of the pre-school, such as managing the pre-school’s finances, recruitment & appraisal of staff, ensuring adequate policies & working procedures are in place and organising key fundraising activities and events.

 

Treasurer Vacancy 2026

We are looking for a new Treasurer to join the Little Fishes Pre-School committee, as our current Treasurer will be stepping down after 5 years of wonderful support.
This is a volunteer role helping oversee the pre-school finances and supporting the running of our charity. You will work together with our Business Manager. You don’t need to be an accountant – just someone organised who is happy working with numbers. Support and a handover will be provided.
